Our Vision

Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds; but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and rest in its branches.” - Matthew 13:31-32

Quality of One

The church is like a mustard seed. When its inner quality shines, it will crack through walls and make an impact in the society. Before the church seeks to grow in quantity, it must grow in quality; before it has quality programs, it must first have quality life in its people. Quality of the church is in the quality of one. Therefore the vision of the church is to raise Christ-like members who shine with these characters:

    1.  God-centered living
    2.  United in Christ
    3.  Live in community
    4.  Outward looking
    5.  Love all people

Blessing to Many

When the mustard seed is fully grown, it becomes a tree. The birds of the field can rest on its branches and eat its fruit. In the same way, when the church is fully grown, it becomes a blessing to the world. All kinds of people can come and find help in the church. We love because Jesus loves. One of the visions of the church is to become a blessing to many by being a:

    1.  Intercessor center
    2.  Community center
    3.  Education Center
    4.  Family Center
    5.  Mission Center

These ministries meet various needs of the community and bring people into the Kingdom of God. But the priority must be right: the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, not a mustard tree. We cannot be blinded by the beauty of the tree and forget the importance of the seed. The tree will die yearly in its cycle. When the programs of the church fulfill their functions, they will cease. But when the seed falls on the ground, it will grow into another tree.
