2011 - present
Zaneta grew up with FBCC; she entered middle school when Phase I was built and continued to grow in her faith through her years in the youth ministry, where she served on the worship team. Throughout her college years at the University of Houston, where she was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications-Journalism in 2009, God developed a passion for ministry in her heart.
She joined the FBCC pastoral staff as a Youth Director in November 2011 after spending a year interning with a college campus ministry in Lubbbock and Denton, TX. Zaneta is also currently taking classes at the Houston extension of Fuller Seminary. She loves discipleship and building community. Her desire for the youth at FBCC is for them to develop deep, personal relationships with God and each other to be an example to a world that needs to know Christ.
Zaneta loves guacamole and country music and is a huge fan of sports, especially UH football – Go Coogs!
