Pastor Dick Lee
Rev. Dick Lee started his ministry at FBCC on August 15, 2007. Prior to that, Pastor Dick worked in architectural graphics for a couple of years learning a lot about being a Christian in business. Pastor Dick studied at Fuller Theological Seminary for his MDiv, while serving first as the children's director and later as the youth pastor at the Chinese Evangelical Free Church in Monterey Park, CA. Though born in Hong Kong, he likes calling North Carolina home as he grew up in Greensboro and graduated from Davidson College. Dick and his wife Carolyn also spent close to eight years in Europe as missionaries with the Chinese Overseas Christian Mission, working with 15-20 Chinese churches and fellowships in the development of their second generation and overseas students. In spite of his travels, Dick has no Chinese, southern or British accent, but has been told he sounds like he is from Iowa, where he has never been. He and Carolyn enjoy fine dining - especially sushi - and hanging out at pinball arcades, but prefer spending their time with their two sons college student Stuart and high schooler Ethan.
